Our Story

DOWNTIME was born from a growing understanding that night is not empty time - it's restorative time.

For a long time, I did not fully value the night for what it could give back to us. Over time, I came to understand how deeply rest shapes the way we feel, think, and move through the world. When we are overtired, everything can feel heavier. We become more agitated, more drained, and more vulnerable to overthinking. But sleep has a way of softening that. It restores perspective. It gives the mind and body a chance to return to themselves. 

Night is recovery.

DOWNTIME was created from that place. It is an invitation to treat rest with more care, and make the ritual around sleep more intentional, feminine, and beautiful. 

 

Our Philosophy

We believe that what we wear at night should never feel like an afterthought.

Sleepwear is part of the atmosphere of rest. It shapes how the body settles, how the mind softens, and how the night feels. Thats why DOWNTIME is designed to bring together comfort, beauty and meaning.

Our philosophy is rooted in softness, reflection, and restoration. We are inspired by the idea that night is one of the body's most important moments of renewal: a time to pause, recover, return to balance. Through thoughtful silhouettes, breathable fabrics, and carefully crafted details, we create pieces that feel gentle on the body and calming to the spirit.

Each embroidery and design detail is chosen with intention. Not only to be beautiful, but to evoke memory, pause, and quiet reflection. 

Our sleepwear is fabricated in Turkey, where each piece is produced with care and attention to quality.
